A particularly strong point of the band is the inter-play between the voices of John Markowski and Joanne Lediger. Too few bands realize what you can achieve having two singers that combine as well as these two sharing the load. Their voices mesh, contrast and then come back to each other, like quarrelsome lovers. Worth the price of admission on its own.   (review of "Electrifried")

Joanne Lediger. born and raised in Rockland County New York, is a vocalist who has been performing live and recording with bands professionally for the past 20 years and has studied under Penn State's vocal master, Mary Saunders.

Joanne has a range of musical inspirations which cover a lot of ground, from rock to blues to bluegrass.Among them are Gillian Welsh, Aretha Franklin, Taj Mahal, Etta James, Mary Black, Alison Krauss and Grace Slick. Her wide range of musical tastes has given her tremendous scope of vocal expressions; her harmony choices are of immeasurable value to Johnny's leads as are her own dynamic solo work. Joanne's vocal signatures help to define the texture and depth of this band.

In addition to Stir Fried, Joanne is a member of the bluegrass combo McMule, Flying Jalapenos and The Robert Hill band, as well as doing vocal session work and projects on the side.
